Policy & Admissions Committee


Purpose:

The committee is responsible for editorial review, format and update of the Guidelines based on approved recommendations passed at an Area Committee Meeting and / or Area Assembly. The updates are sent to the Webmaster for Website update.

To suggest changes in district organization, encourage greater participation in districts and develop a progressive detailed plan for redistricting Area 44.

Maps & Boundaries Sub-Committee:

This committee was formed in 1991 and named the Redistricting Committee. It was later given its present name and became a sub-committee of the Policy & Admissions Committee. The basic function of this committee is to redraw district maps subsequent to redistricting in order to maintain Area 44 boundaries. This sub-committee will maintain a current area wide map of all districts in Area 44 and along with the P&A Chair, work with the districts on all related activities, redistricting, clustering, de-clustering, etc.

The Area Guidelines are not rules or laws; they are a collection of shared past experiences of the way we in Area 44 carry AA’s message, as approved by the Groups.
