Changing your Name in Zoom

Members may choose the name that they wish to be displayed when they enter or are in a Zoom meeting.

After you launch the Zoom program from your computer you may set the name that you wish to display.

Join
Click Join a Meeting
Name
Edit your Name

When you are pleased with your selection and have chosen a meeting ID click Join.
You should now be in your meeting comforted by the choice you made.

If you have already Joined a meeting a different way and wish to change your name you can do that too.

Participants
Click on Participants at the bottom of your zoom window

This will open a participants list, find your current name and click on More.

Rename
Click on Rename
If Rename is not availalbe the host has disabled this feature and you will have to leave the meeting to change your name.

When you are pleased with your selection click OK
